Assured Protection is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor. The Shift Supervisor is accountable for supporting day-to-day operations of an assigned shift, including training and disciplining of staff. Build, improve and maintain relationships with property management, tenants and employees, develop and retain staff, coordinate needed support services and solve problems to effectively support the site.

Essential Functions:

• Assures that officers receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills; also, includes performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, recognition, etc.)
• Fill vacant shifts when not able to get coverage
• Assists with the communication of policies and company announcements
• Provides the basis of a great place to work by treating staff with respect
• Promote safety and observe and report hazards
• Capably interacts with Site Supervisor, Property Management Officials and Site tenants
• Helps the Site Supervisor identify, meet and exceed the needs of the client.
• Conducts site-specific On the Job Training, client specific training and refresher training for security personnel
• Reviews incident reports and coordinate preliminary investigations
• Manages uniforms, equipment, supplies and vehicles utilized at the account, maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists
• Enforces Assured Protections policies as outlined in the handbooks and executive memos

Skills Required

• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors

• Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
• Attention to detail

1-2 Years Experience required. Must be willing to work nights and weekends.

Physical Requirements and Environment : Requires standing for long periods of time, walking and patrolling. Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat, inclement weather, and rain.
