Patient Service Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Work with patients in person and by telephone at local hospital.​ Assist them with securing benefits from Medicaid and charity programs.​ The goal is to help them receive coverage for their medical related expenses.​ Work with the agencies that provide the benefits and serve as a referral base for other services found in the community.​  Other duties will be assigned by management.​ 

Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Schedule:  

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Degree is preferred but is not required
• Medicaid program knowledge is helpful
• Bilingual Spanish a +​ 
• Social Service experience preferred
• Must be a good communicator
• Must have strong communication/​customer service skills
• Must have valid driver's license

Job Description

Medix Professional Services is in current need for an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician. Candidates will be working in a Long Term Care, Closed Door Pharmacy setting. This is a highly production based company and candidates must be extremely punctual. Order Entry Pharmacy Technician's must be able to accurately and efficiently work within a given timeline. This position is solely order entry.  Pharmacy Technician will be typing over 150 prescriptions per day, and must be able to type 7000 Key Strokes per hour.

Candidates must:

• have a Maryland State Registered Pharmacy Technician License
• have 2-3years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• be able to type 7000 Key Strokes per hour
• be able to work weekends
• be willing to work overtime

Pay is 11$ - 14$ / hour based upon experience

Medical Billing and Collections personnel. Our client is a leading
primary care practice in the Baltimore, MD area and we
have urgent needs for these positions.

Medical Biller:

- MUST HAVE at least 2 years hospital billing experience
- MUST HAVE experience with Medicaid and/or Medicare
- MUST be able to pass a background/drug screen
- Experience dealing with Major Commercial Insurances (Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Kaiser Etc.)
