Our top client is seeking an accounting associate to join their accounts receivable team. The qualified candidate will have 2+ years of full cycle accounts receivable experience. The incumbent will have daily interaction with clients regarding their account payment, so strong customer service skills and discretion are imperative. Applicants must be familiar with online credit card processing, as most of their clients utilize this form of payment.  In this role, the accounting associate will assist in the billing and creation of invoices, tracking aging of accounts, providing customer service to clients via phone and email correspondence, and daily collections calls on delinquent accounts. Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant:

While they are small in size, they do roughly $10M in annual sales, so there is certainly enough work to keep their accountant busy! They would love to see candidates who are very detailed, fresh and internally motivated.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Full cycle AP (100 invoices/mo)
• Full cycle AR (posting payments, light collections calls, billing)
• Payroll for up to 20 employees--currently using a manual ACH system. They need someone who can manage the 401K accounts and deductions, insurance deductions, fed/state deductions... etc.
• Create all W-2's at year end
• Process Sales Tax for MD, DC, VA, PA, DE
• Vendor relations, manage all contracts with insurance companies, EZ Pass, utilities
• Detailed bank and account reconciliations
• Post journal entries to QuickBooks

This position is excellent for a candidate looking for a stable company. Most of their employees have been there for 5-20+ years! There may be room for growth down the line, but for now the position will be strictly as listed above with the potential of additional tasks being added.

Compensation $45-65K
